He was the commander of many marine ships such as, Metsch, Träsk, Lihatsch, Tuman an Korschun. Riddare of St Stanislai Orden with Sword and Rose in 12 Dec 1885 as a reward for his braveness during the bombardiment of Suomenlinna/Sveaborg. He participated altogether in five wars. (Sorce letter of Writer Gunborg Wildh to Fredrick Federley Dec 2010) He was one of the founders of Nyländska Yachtklubben NJK in Helsinki/Helsingfors. He was the first vice commander of NJK. He moved from Suomen Kaaderiekipaasi/Finska kaderekipaget to Helsingin pitäjä/Helsinge 3 May 1881. He died of an heartattack close to the Tikkurila/Dickursby railway station. |
