Misc. Notes
Communionbook 1835 - 1841 page 51 it is said that Gustava moved to Helsinki/Helsingfors 28.11.1835. Then: Kommen ifrån Helsingfors 1837 l.q. (=lägrad qvinna=pregnant) Barnet dött. (the child died) Gustava moved to Porvoo in 1940. There appears to be a son Svante born 26.4.1839. Father unknown.

Gustava and Bror Berndt where not married. Gustava worked as Bror Berndt´s housekeeper and in his testamony Bror Berndt gave all his belongings to Gustava Skogberg.

On Oct 27 1843 Gustava claimed this testamony and her claim was published in Finlands Allmänna Tidning on Jan 1 1844.

On Apr 8 1844 Gustava repeated the claim and it was once more published in Finlands Allmänna Tidning on Apr 24 1844.

On Apr 8 1843 Simon Grönund cousin of Bror Bendt made however a claim against this testamony.
His claim was published in Finlands allmänna Tidning Apr 13 1843. In this claim he mentioned that he was pointed utredningsman (trusted man).

The case was brought to court, Borgå Rådstuvuyrätt, where it was handled 7 times. 27.10.1843, 16.11.1843, 20.11.1843, 22.1.1844, 19.2.1844, 23.2.1844 and 15.4.1844.

Simon Gränlund lost the case in Borgå rådstuvurätt but made an appeal to Åbo Hovrätt.

The appeal No 73 arrived to Åbo Hovrätt 15 Jul 1844 and it was announced 22 Jul 1844

On Sep 12 1844 the parties were informed about that the case will be handled by Åbo Hovrätt.

The sentence: Simon Grönöund had no authorization whatsover to represent any potential inheritants of Bror Berndt Federley. Bror Berndt had at the time of his death 7 sibblings which could have inherited him but no one of them had made any claim to inherit Bror Berndt.

Thus Åbo Hovrätt declared the lower court Borgå Rådstuvurätt sentence totally dislcaimed since there wehere no formal reason whatsoever to even handle the whole case in Borgå Rådstuvurätt.

Simon Grönlund had to pay all the court handling costs caused by him by Gustava Skogberg.

Thus Gustava Skoberg inherited Bror Barndt Federley as she originally claimed.

Gustava. moved from Joutseno to Helsinki/Helsingfors in 1863.
Children
1 M Berndt Federley (Illegitimate)
Birth 4 Feb 1843, Loviisa/Lovisa 1Q 68
Death 21 Feb 1865, Leppävaaran Kartano/Alberga Gård
Misc. Notes
He was chistened 8 Feb 1843. If the death date of Berndt’s assumed father Bror Berndt is correct, Bror Berndt cannot be the father of Berndt.
Berndt was graduated from Borgå gymnasium 16.9.1862.
He was “admiterad” in 1860.
It is also possible that the birth date of Berndt is incorrect.
There is an Article primted in Åbo where is mentiend a sentence from Åbo Hovrätt concerning a case between Berndt’s mother Gustava Skogberg and Berndt’s father’s cousin Simon Grönlund. This will be further investigated. Read further the notes about Gustava Skogberg.
