Viktor was adopted by Johanna Maria Federley after the death of her husband Anders Christian Federley. Viktor was the son of Enok Juhonpoika Mäkinen born 1 Mar 1860 in Rajamäki Finland and Severina Davidsdotter born in Ikaalinen, Jylli 30 May1850 and died in Ikaalinen 31 Dec1890. Viktors name was originally Viktor Alfred Severinasson and after the adoption Viktor Alfred Federley. He came to Norway 1919. He had a sister Alvina Kivinen born 25 Feb1879 in Ikaalinen, Kilvakkala. She moved to Lammi 1897. The parents of Severina were David Wilhelm Matsson born 15.10.1812 and died Jun 1867 and his wife Regina Mikontytär born 28 May1820 and died 2 Apr1865. They lived in the village Kilvakkala at Urasjärvi lake in Ikaalinen. They had 8 more children, Agatha b. 1848, Wilhelmina b. 1849, Regina b. 1853 Twin, Josefina 1853 Twin, Maria b. 1855, Ananias b. 1858, Hiskias b. 1861, Eufrosyne 1864.b. Viktor vorked as a railroader building the railway “Raumabanen” which was opened 1921. His coming wife was working as a cooker for the railroaders. They lived in Ormheim close to the railway station Verma. The railway went from Dombås to Åndalsnäs. The son Malvin was born in Molde close to Åndalsnäs. Malvin still have their sommercottage (hytte) at the Romsdalsfjorden at Molde. Ahti Kurri is a decendant of Alviina and lives today in Vantaa/V anda.
