Batised 25 Nov 1830. He was one of the most valued painters in his time, not only in Finland but in the whole of Europe! His production can be seen in our President´s palace in Turku art museum and in many other remarcable places. The highest price ever paid for a painting of his took place in the Bukowsky auction in Decemeber 2001 when a painting showing a 2-horse carousine was sold for 1,6 milj FIM = 269.100EURO.
O September the 24th 1861 the Konstföreningen i Finland (Associatione of art in Finalnd) Held a memorila ceremony for Werner Holmberg on the day one year after his death. The memorial speach was held by Zavhris Topelius.

On Jan 4 1863 she wrote a letter to Zacharias Topelius, chairman and one of the founders of Finska Konstfreningen. (rhe association for art in Finland) I this letter he asked ZT to pay her thanks to Tsar of Russia Alexander the II for the jewelery he had given to her as a gift for the painting of her husband, Werner Holmberg to the art collection which today is in Ateneum in Helsinki.
Anna mooved to 1897 Copenhagen. At the time of her daughter Betzy’s marriage 10.3.1892. Anna lived in Hamburg.
Anna lived both in Leipzig and Hamburg.
At her death Anna lived on Gammel Kongevej 43 in Copenhagen.
The burial ceremony took place Sep 11 1909 in the Eliaskirke in Copenhagen. Priest: Pastor Paul Müller.
The urn was layed down on Sep 13 1909 after a ceremony in the Bjisbergs crematorium chapel..

The thomb stone was remowed in 1929.
