He was executed by Stalin. Marshal Tuhatshevski was called the Napoleon of Russia. A genius of his time. Adolf Hitler said when he heard about the excution that Stalin made a big service to the west.
Later Marshal Tuhatshevskis honour was reestablished. There are many interesting books written about this extraordinary person. Many stories was told to me about him being a Federley. That is not the case but in his blood was the same inheritance as in the blood of Kristoffer Federleys decendants. Kristoffers wife Maria Wialenius was one of the decendants of Korpral Thomas Stenius. |
