It is sure that his mother was Margaretha Paulin but not 100% sure that Carl Magnus Tidtsröm was his father. Carl Magnus Tidström was however fiend because of marraige outside marriage in 1788.

It is not 100% sure that Magnus Tidström is the father of this boy but there is a lot of facts that shows that. Carl Magnus was born with the matronym Gretasson but after Magnus Todström had died Carl Magnus became Todtsröm. How Carl Magnus got the surname Tídtsröm is not yet known.
