| He was born and christened as a memeber of the Orthodox community in Sortavala/Sordavala. On the 23rd of June 1907 he became a meber of the Lutheran community in Käkisalmi/Kexholm. Sergei’s and Miina’s grave can be found on the Heinola graveyard just behind the monument raised for those who were killed during the civil war in 1918. | ||||||||
