Misc. Notes |
Berndt donated the home interiör of his parents to the Wyborg museum in Lappeenranta/Wilmanstrand and to the Vapriikki museum in Tampere/Tammerfors. The choice of the Wyborg museum was made by Berndt because his fathers mother Gertrud Pacius was born in Wyborg and the choice of the Vapriikki museum in Tampere/Tammerfors because his father’s father (Carl) Birger Federley went tos school there and later as an architect draw many of the beautiful Art Deco (Jugend) buildings in the center of the city. these buildings all well preserved and Birger became recognized as a famous architect of his time. |
