410. Karl Johan “Kaarle Juhana” Federley. Born on 12 Jul 1893 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Karl Johan “Kaarle Juhana” died in Palm Beach Lake Worth Florida, on 13 Apr 1967; he was 73. Occupation: Boilermaker.

He emigrated from Pyhäjärvi to Minnesota USA. He left Glasgow on May 24th 1913 with s/s California and arrived to Ellis Islands on June the 2nd 1913. He had a train ticket to Minnesota and mention as his friend he mentioned Juho Huppunen living in Bowey Minnesota. Appearently a reliative to Karl’s mother Maria b. Huppunen. At that time Finland was still a Russian Governement. It is said that they needed 68USD to leave the country. They lived at 222 Humboldt avenue 44th street when their son was born. Later they moved From Minnesota to Lake Worth Florida. Karl Johan was rgeistered as Kaarle Juhana at the arrival and later he registered as Carl John Federley in USA. In my archieves is the signed document of Carl John where he is applying for social security insurance on the 30th of November 1936. He signed the documents with the name John Federley. He never came back to visit his relatives in Finland. His wife Lydia however once travelled to Finland. During world war 2 John’s relatives in Finland received many parcels with things needed during these hard times. John Worked at General Mills in Minnesota.

On 17 Feb 1917 when Karl Johan “Kaarle Juhana” was 23, he married Lyyti Maria “Lydia Maria” Swan, daughter of Nestor Swan & Sofia Ruut, in Hennepin Minnesota USA. Born on 7 Nov 1894 in Forssa. Lyyti Maria “Lydia Maria” died in Palm Beach Lake Worth Florida, in Jun 1982; she was 87. Occupation: Maid/kotipaulainen/hembiträde.

She emigrated to Minnesota USA where she married John Federley. Later they moved to Lake Worth Florida. Lyyti Maria was registered as Lydia Maria Federley in USA. She used the name Lydia. She once visited Finland to meet with her relatives. In the birth certificate of her son her surname is said to be Joutsen which is an translation to finnish of her maiden surname Swan. I have not found any explanation for this.

411. Liisa Federley. Born on 27 Mar 1897 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Liisa died in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg on 27 Aug 1931; she was 34.

She was not married and had no children.

412. Andreas Herman “Antti Hermanni” Federley. Born on 8 Jun 1899 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Andreas Herman “Antti Hermanni” died in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg on 25 Apr 1900; he was <1.

413. Eemeli Federley. Born on 15 May 1902 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Eemeli died in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg on 7 Apr 1907; he was 4.

414. Arvid Hugo Federley. Born on 3 Feb 1906 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Arvid Hugo died in Lappeenranta/Willmanstrand on 10 Apr 1973; he was 67.

They went to Alavus from Pyhäjärvi and from Alavus to Hämeenkyrö and from there back tioPyhäjärvi when Interim piece was achieved. When the war started again they went to Könnö estate in Putkilahti willage in Korpilahti .

On 27 May 1928 when Arvid Hugo was 22, he married Alina Nikkanen, daughter of Matti Nikkanen & Maria Pärssinen. Born on 21 Sep 1908 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Alina died in Lappeenranta/Willmanstrand on 23 Nov 1983; she was 75.

415. Eero Einar Federley. Born on 28 May 1910 in Pyhäjärvi/Wiborg. Eero Einar died in Huittinen/Vittis on 23 Jan 1979; he was 68.

On 11 Mar 1934 when Eero Einar was 23, he married Elma Maria Äikäs. Born on 23 Aug 1913 in Valkjärvi. Elma Maria died in Huittinen/Vittis on 24 Mar 1988; she was 74.
