He became professor att an age of only 32. Candidate to become President in Finland in 1962. Kansler at Åbo Akademi. He was a very gifted journalist and he became the chiefeditor of the daily newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet. During this period he became politically active and became the Chairman of SFP, The Swedish party. He was largely appreciateted across the party boarders and was known to be a person with gifts in many different areas. All in all he was an authority who was widely appreciated by people in many different cathegories. A historical person.
